NEW YORK, October 27, 2026 — Usuals has announced its official launch, which took place on October 26, 2026. Available at https://usuals.club, the project focuses on helping people discover local clubs and gatherings, understand what to expect, and find someone who can welcome them when they arrive.Finding an activity is only part of joining a community. For someone attending alone, practical questions can make that first visit difficult: who will be there, whether newcomers are welcome, and whom to approach on arrival. Usuals is built around helping people answer those questions before they take the first step.
The project brings together shared interests and opportunities to meet in person, including creative activities, walks, games and conversations. Its approach centres on a simple progression: discover a community, learn about the gathering, and get to know the person who will welcome a newcomer. Returning to a regular club gives those initial connections time to develop.
Usuals was founded by Aleksandr Lozovskii, who serves as CEO. The idea grew from his own experience of putting off joining a running club until a friend accompanied him and introduced him to the group. That experience shaped the project's focus on the welcome surrounding a first visit.
New York is the first city Usuals is focusing on. The project invites people interested in joining local communities, club organisers welcoming new members, and potential collaborators to explore the website and contact the team.
