Swaplet.com Launches a Consent-Based Exchange for Customer Requests That Providers Cannot Fulfil

Swaplet.com has launched a permissioned exchange that lets customers whose request one provider cannot serve opt in to a match with another provider, starting in residential real estate.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, October 30, 2026. Swaplet.com has launched a permissioned exchange that lets a customer whose request cannot be served by one provider choose to be matched with another suitable provider. The service starts in residential real estate, with mortgage and lending planned next.

The problem is common across industries. A home sells before an open house visitor can make an offer, or a complete loan application falls outside one lender's criteria. In those moments the customer still has a clear need, but the request usually goes nowhere. On Swaplet, the customer receives an invitation linked to the original source and can confirm that they are still looking. That confirmation creates an intent record. Providers review anonymized demand and may acquire limited commercial rights within participation caps.

Contact details are kept in a separate vault and are released only through permissions that name the recipient and the specific fields they may see. Payment alone never releases contact information. The protocol is designed to work with enterprise software and AI agents, and attribution allows the original source to share in the value of a completed match. Swaplet began with Vancouver area realtors in summer 2026, using QR forms at open houses. The technology is patent pending.

"When a customer has asked for something specific and the first business cannot deliver it, that request should not simply disappear," said a spokesperson for the company. "Swaplet is built so the customer decides who sees their details and when."
