Glasgow, Scotland - Riverbank Systems, a Glasgow-based IT support company working with small businesses and organisations across Scotland, has launched a discounted IT support programme for the Scottish voluntary sector.Eligible Scottish charities, SCIOs, Community Interest Companies and not-for-profit organisations can receive a 75% reduction on Riverbank's standard IT support labour rate for their first 10 hours of support.
The programme covers day-to-day IT support across the systems charities rely on: Microsoft 365, Outlook and email, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Windows and Linux devices, Wi-Fi and networks, backups, cyber security, user accounts and MFA problems.
Charities are being asked to do more with less while depending on technology as much as any commercial business. Most IT problems are fixable quickly - the barrier is usually cost. This programme removes that barrier for the first piece of work.
Organisations that already have an IT supplier can still apply. The programme can be used for a second opinion or a specific piece of work, and there is no requirement to move all IT support to Riverbank.
Scottish charities are verified against the OSCR Scottish Charity Register. CICs are verified by company number, and voluntary organisations that are not registered charities are reviewed individually rather than automatically excluded.
After the introductory hours, organisations can continue on a preferential charity support rate, a fixed project quotation, or a monthly managed IT support package.
Hardware, software licences, Microsoft licences, third-party subscriptions and cloud charges are not included in the discounted rate and are quoted separately.
