Glasgow, Scotland - Riverbank IT Systems is warning Scottish businesses still running Windows 10 that their machines no longer receive security updates - leaving every new vulnerability permanently open.Microsoft ended Windows 10 support in October 2025. Machines on it now face unpatched exposure, potential cyber insurance invalidation and exclusion from Cyber Essentials certification.
"We are still finding offices where half the machines never got migrated," said a spokesperson for the Glasgow-based firm. "The risk compounds every month a new vulnerability appears and the patch never comes."
