While many of today's premium sparring gloves trace their heritage to traditional boxing, REVGEAR set out to create a glove for the modern striker—someone who trains across boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, and other combat sports. The result is a glove engineered to deliver exceptional protection, comfort, balance, and performance across the full spectrum of martial arts striking.
Developed with input from world champions, respected coaches, and experienced martial artists, the S7 combines premium materials, advanced multi-layer impact protection, and an ergonomic fit that feels natural whether you're sparring, hitting pads, or training for competition.
"The S7 wasn't created to copy what already existed," said Alex Wright, Brand Director at REVGEAR, who led the development of the project. "We wanted to build the sparring glove that martial artists have been waiting for. Most premium gloves are designed primarily with boxers in mind. We approached the challenge from a martial artist's perspective—someone who boxes, kicks, clinches, and trains across multiple disciplines. Every decision was made to create the highest-performing sparring glove possible for that athlete."
The project represents one of the most extensive product development efforts in REVGEAR's nearly 30-year history. Multiple generations of prototypes were refined through thousands of rounds of sparring and countless hours of feedback before the final design was approved.
