TTU, EAST NUSA TENGGARA — Monday, September 21, 2026 — The wedding ceremony of Retno and Reni was held in a warm, solemn, and family-oriented atmosphere. The event was attended by the parents of the bride and groom, extended family members, traditional leaders, community figures, and several regional dignitaries.The bride and groom are members of the families of Kasimilus Kono Naibobe and Martina Olo, the parents of the couple. The presence of extended families from various traditional communities added a strong sense of unity and cultural significance to the wedding celebration.
During the ceremony, Mr. Marsianus Loe Mau delivered words of advice on behalf of both families. His message emphasized the importance of building married life with love and mutual respect, maintaining family unity, and preserving good relationships with the extended families of both sides.
Also attending the celebration were Raphael Fahik, S.H., M.H., Chairman of the Central Executive Board of MABN (MABN DPP Pusat), and Wilybrodus Lay, S.H., Regent of Belu, together with other guests, relatives, and family friends.
Traditional elders from several communities were also present, including representatives of the Naibobe, Taone, Masaubat, Oebnaman, and Tmeken tribes, as well as representatives of the Bunak ethnic community.
In addition, Mr. Yosef Bala, Head of RT 5 Atolan, Letneo Village, West Insana District, North Central Timor Regency (TTU), was also present at the celebration.
The gathering of family members and traditional leaders served as an important moment to strengthen bonds of kinship among families and traditional communities. Family values, respect for elders, and community solidarity were prominent throughout the celebration of Retno and Reni’s marriage.
