Jordanian Lawyer in Aqaba Develops MERENVAY, an AI Legal Decision-Assurance Platform

AQABA, Jordan — Mohammed Mazen Al Nasser, a Jordan-qualified lawyer based in Aqaba whose legal work began in 2007, is developing MERENVAY, a live public-beta Legal Intelligence & Decision Assurance platform built around a different question from conventional legal chatbots: not simply whether AI can produce an answer, but whether the decision behind that answer can withstand challenge. MERENVAY is designed as an AI legal "decision brain" that surfaces evidence gaps, competing hypotheses, counterfactuals, adversarial challenge, uncertainty and human release control before a legal conclusion is treated as ready. The project's documented internal baseline includes more than 42,595 inventoried files and an evaluation registry containing 7,359 benchmark rows representing 7,162 distinct case titles. These are inventory and evaluation figures, not claims that a model was trained on 42,595 files and not legal-accuracy percentages. On 24 September 2026, a MERENVAY package was deposited through France's official INPI e-Soleau service under no. DSO2026035733. The deposit provides dated evidentiary preservation of the submitted package; it is not a patent or certification. Al Nasser holds a master's degree in Intellectual Property and a second master's degree in Journalism & New Media, and he participated in the Swedish Institute's Young Leaders Visitors Programme (YLVP) in 2013.
