Xiaomi has released the MiMo-V2.6 family as open weights under the MIT license, giving developers three downloadable options for experimentation and self-hosted use. The lineup includes MiMo-V2.6-Pro-RL, a flagship sparse mixture-of-experts model with about 1.02 trillion total parameters and roughly 42 billion active parameters, a 1 million-token context window, and support for text, images, video, and audio. MiMo-V2.6-Flash-RL is a faster, lighter option with about 309 billion total parameters and 15 billion active parameters, while MiMo-V2.6-Distill-Qwen-9B is a compact 9B distilled model for more modest hardware.Xiaomi describes training across coding, general tasks, vision, and cybersecurity, with technical reports and training tools available for review.
