LOS ANGELES, California — Sony Pictures Animation and Marvel are reportedly moving forward with an untitled animated Venom feature film following the success of the live-action Venom trilogy released between 2018 and 2024.The project is reportedly not scrapped or rejected and remains in active early development as a future greenlight production. According to early reports, the first concept art for the untitled animated movie is expected to be revealed on May 24, 2026.
The upcoming feature is reportedly being developed by Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind the acclaimed Spider-Verse animated films, alongside Marvel. Final Destination: Bloodlines directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein are attached to direct the project.
While official story details and casting information remain undisclosed, the animated film is expected to introduce a new interpretation of Venom following the conclusion of Sony’s live-action trilogy.
