Universal Packaging has expanded its Canadian presence with a new Hamilton location, following growing order volumes from customers across the region. The move represents a strategic response to raising local demand for flexible packaging, including custom Mylar bags, while establishing a closer production presence for Hamilton-area customers.Danial James, Managing Director of Universal Packaging, stated that “Our continued expansion across Canada brings us closer to customers, with advanced printing technology supporting flexible packaging solutions and ongoing growth.”
The Hamilton expansion with new technologies also aligns with the city’s manufacturing and logistics environment, strengthening the company’s regional positioning as further Canadian expansion moves towards Vancouver, positioning the western Canadian expansion as the next potential stage of growth. As Mélanie Joly says, “Canada has the talent, ingenuity, and industrial capacity to lead in the manufacturing industries of the future.”
