ThreeSkins, founded by entrepreneur SB, is preparing its first consumer launch across India and the UAE with a formulation-first approach centred on skin-barrier architecture, delivery systems and clinical transparency.The brand's current barrier-focused formulations are built around a ceramide-dominant 3:1:1 physiological lipid architecture comprising ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids. The system uses five ceramides: Ceramide NP, NS, AP, EOP and EOS.
ThreeSkins has developed two formulations around this architecture for different skin profiles. Barrière Profonde contains 6.0% total barrier lipids and is designed for dry, sensitive and visibly stressed skin. Barrière Légère contains 4.0% total barrier lipids and is designed for oily and combination skin.
Delivery architecture is treated as part of formulation development. The formulations incorporate hydrogenated-lecithin-based lipid systems, including liposomal and nanostructured lipid-carrier (NLC) architecture.
Clinical transparency is central to the company's development process. ThreeSkins distinguishes between formulation work that is complete and validation programmes that remain in progress or scheduled. Thermal-stability testing and Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing (HRIPT) are in progress, while bio-instrumental trans epidermal water-loss (TEWL) validation is scheduled on serialized production units. The company does not present an ongoing or scheduled validation milestone as a completed result.
The product-development brief also considers the environments of India and the UAE, including heat, humidity, aridity, prolonged air-conditioning and mineral-heavy water.
The first release will be controlled through a Founding Allocation of 1,000 serialized units across India and the UAE. Reservations require no payment at registration. Payment is requested only after applicable production and quality-control steps are complete and the serialized unit is ready for dispatch.
