Karachi, Pakistan – September 2026 – The All Pakistan Customs Bonded Carriers Association (APCBCA) has received formal institutional recognition following licensing by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, and registration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), with Tariq Gul serving as Chairman of the Association.The Ministry of Commerce granted Licence No. 389 to APCBCA on 29 June 2026 under Section 3(2)(d) of the Trade Organizations Act, 2013. The licence recognizes APCBCA as a trade organization representing transporters and logistics service providers engaged as bonded carriers on an all-Pakistan basis.
The Association was subsequently registered with FPCCI. Its Certificate of Registration, issued on 31 August 2026, confirms APCBCA’s registration with the Federation and its representation of the bonded-carrier sector across Pakistan.
Official FPCCI correspondence dated 2 September 2026 is addressed to Tariq Gul as Chairman of the All Pakistan Customs Bonded Carriers Association, confirming his leadership role in the Association.
The formal recognition of APCBCA provides Pakistan’s bonded-carrier and logistics sector with a structured national platform for representation, industry coordination and engagement with relevant customs, trade and regulatory institutions.
Bonded carriers play an important role in the movement of customs-controlled and transit cargo through Pakistan’s ports, dry ports, border terminals and designated customs routes. APCBCA aims to support constructive dialogue on customs procedures, transit trade, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and logistics development.
Under the chairmanship of Tariq Gul, the Association will focus on strengthening coordination within the bonded-carrier sector, supporting professional standards and promoting engagement between industry stakeholders and relevant public and private institutions.
