The device enables compatible electric vehicles to supply AC power to external loads, transforming the EV battery into a mobile power source for tools, appliances, and emergency equipment.The FD03 V2L adapter joins SUPERGENIE's existing B2B product lineup, which includes the ZD01 7 kW RFID Wi-Fi wallbox charger and the 7 kW 32 A portable Type 2 EVSE. Together, the three product families cover residential wall-mounted charging, portable travel and fleet charging, and bidirectional vehicle-to-load power output.
Vehicle-to-Load technology is gaining traction among commercial fleet operators who need on-site power without installing fixed infrastructure. A maintenance van equipped with a V2L-capable EV can power diagnostic tools, work lights, and small equipment directly from the vehicle battery, eliminating the need for a portable generator or grid connection at remote work sites.
The FD03 adapter is designed for Type 2 (IEC 62196) vehicle sockets and delivers up to 3.3 kW single-phase AC output. It includes overcurrent protection, overtemperature monitoring, and IP-rated enclosure construction suitable for outdoor use. The device is compatible with vehicles that support Mode 2 discharging through the Type 2 charge port.
SUPERGENIE's OEM program supports full product customization including cable length and color, connector type, enclosure branding, packaging, and multilingual documentation. The company reports a one-day target engineering response for technical qualification requests and supports sample-to-production transitions from 200-piece minimum order quantities.
All SUPERGENIE products are manufactured at the company's 4,500 square meter facility in Foshan, Guangdong, China, with over 200 skilled staff.
