SunAura Thermal Details SA-FILM Graphene Far-Infrared Heating Film: 12 Standard Widths, Over 99% Conversion Efficiency, IP67 Rated

Qingdao-based SunAura Thermal details its SA-FILM graphene far-infrared heating film: twelve standard widths from 10 to 100 cm, over 99% electrical-to-thermal efficiency, IP67 rating and SGS/ZCT test evidence for OEM, ODM and wholesale export buyers.

QINGDAO, China — October 24, 2026

SunAura Thermal (SUNAURA (QINGDAO) THERMAL TECHNOLOGY Co., LTD), a Qingdao-based manufacturer of intelligent electric heating systems founded in 2008, has published a technical overview of its SA-FILM graphene far-infrared heating film, documenting the product's standard widths, efficiency ratings, thickness and independent test evidence for OEM, ODM and wholesale buyers in export markets.

The SA-FILM heating element is a graphene-carbon composite printed on PET film, designed to emit far-infrared radiant heat. According to the product documentation at https://www.sunaura.ltd/products/heating-film the film is offered in twelve standard widths — 10, 15, 20, 25, 33, 40, 50, 55, 60, 75, 80 and 100 cm — cut to custom lengths to match project requirements, at 110 V or 220–230 V supply. The company states electrical-to-thermal heating efficiency above 99%, a fully waterproof IP67 rating, and PTC self-limiting technology available on request. Common output density is 100–160 W/m² for primary heating in insulated rooms, tuned from around 100 W/m² for ceiling heating up to higher industrial densities (per SunAura product specifications).

In its technical article at https://www.sunaura.ltd/far-infrared-heating-film the SunAura engineering team explains how the radiant film works: the film emits long-wave infrared radiation in the 5–20 micrometre band, which heats people and surfaces directly rather than first heating the air. The article compares film with heating cables, which it describes as line sources that produce temperature ripples across the floor; film and mats are surface sources, the company says, delivering more uniform floor temperatures that help installations comply with flooring manufacturers' maximum surface temperature limits, typically 27–28 °C for wood and laminate. The film itself is under 1 mm thick; with insulation and underlay the total build-up is typically 5–15 mm, which the company says is thin enough for most renovation projects. The low-EMF design relies on adjacent conductors whose current fields cancel each other.

Independent test evidence listed on the product page includes SGS RoHS reports, ZCT EMC / IEC 60335 reports and a CNAS inspection report from the Qingdao Product Quality Supervision and Testing Research Institute. The film line is supported by CE, RoHS (EU) 2015/863 and ISO 9001:2015 compliance documentation. The film is double-insulated, shielded to near-zero EMF and tested to IEC 60335; the company notes it reaches only gentle surface temperatures, typically 25–35 °C, and that film systems typically warm up within 15–30 minutes (per SunAura installation guidance). A separate laboratory analysis report (number 2021SP04494R01D) issued by the Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology measured a negative-ion concentration of 3.6×10² ions/cm³ at 5 cm above the powered film, and covered E. coli disinfection efficacy testing.

For laminate and wood installations, the film sits neatly under 2–3 mm foam underlay, and installers are advised to respect the flooring manufacturer's maximum surface temperature, typically 27–28 °C. SunAura says the build profile is thin enough that the film is offered as an OEM/ODM line for brands in more than 50 export markets.

SunAura operates six automated production lines at its Huangdao plant in Qingdao, under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, exporting to more than 50 countries (per SunAura factory records). The company backs its heating film with a 15-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Export terms are EXW or FOB Qingdao, with CE, RoHS and ISO 9001 certification documents issued with the shipment, and the company notes project scope ranging from a single bathroom to a 3,000 m² commercial development.

"Our SA-FILM is engineered as a surface-source radiant product — under 1 mm thick, IP67 rated, with published efficiency above 99% and third-party reports from SGS and ZCT behind it," said Ethan Sun, Founder & CEO of SunAura Thermal. "We supply it in twelve standard widths from 10 cm to 100 cm, cut to project length, and we pair it with our own WiFi thermostats for scheduled room-by-room control."
