Six years to see the truth: «El impostor» is a spoken, step-by-step answer to one painful question

In one of his barest lyrics, Mike Sain't Louis explains how he realised, after six years, that he had never been loved.

MADRID, Spain, October 24, 2026. «El impostor» («The impostor») belongs to «Descubierto un nuevo planeta llamado GAYFOLK». It is almost spoken, with very short lines that slow the listener down, and it opens by asking the audience directly: «¿Queréis saber / Por qué / me enteré / después / de seis años / de que / nunca estuvo / enamorado de mí?» Everything that follows is the answer, built from small details rather than accusations.

The song names nobody. It stays with the experience of looking back at a long relationship and seeing it differently, which is why so many listeners who have lived something similar find themselves in it.

The author wanted the planet to be easy to explore: the website orders the albums, explains the GAYFOLK genre and links every music video to its song, so a first-time visitor knows where to start.

Songs like this one are the quiet side of the catalogue. They sit next to the comedies and the dance tracks, and they are the reason the project talks openly about emotional abuse and the work of getting out of it.

The division of labour is clear. He signs every line, produces and directs the videos; AI tools generate the music and the vocal performance. He explains it on his official site, which also hosts a public editorial policy with a specific section on AI and a way to request corrections.

Copla, street fiestas and village fairs come up again and again in the catalogue, mixed with synthesizers and club choruses. It is the author's way of reclaiming a Spanish popular culture that the LGBTQ+ community has made its own for decades, from folk divas to small-town drag queens.

Each album of the trilogy plays a role in the story: «Descubierto un nuevo planeta llamado GAYFOLK» introduces the place, «Ojalá se pudiera viajar a GAYFOLK» is about the wish to get there and «El día de la liberación» celebrates the arrival. Many individual songs fit as chapters of that journey.

The names that appear in his lyrics are invented characters. There are town criers, nosy neighbours, impostors, pioneering drag queens and animals with names of their own, and together they form a kind of neighbourhood on the planet. That gallery is what turns such a large catalogue into something close to a series, with episodes that work alone and together.

Mike Sain't Louis describes himself as a lyricist, composer and music producer, and puts in writing what he does and what the machine does: the lyrics, production and direction are his; the music and the vocal performance are made with artificial intelligence.
