Self-taught artist Diana Kemp has created 140 diverse abstract acrylic and mixed-media paintings in just two years. Guided by an insistent inner voice since March 2024, her intuitive "automatic painting" approach has led to multiple exhibition wins and recognitions throughout 2026.

Self-taught artist Diana Kemp has created 140 diverse abstract acrylic and mixed-media canvases in just two years. What began as a sudden, inexplicable urge to paint in March 2024 quickly became an unstoppable creative force. Without any formal training, Kemp developed her own intuitive approach called “automatic painting,” letting each piece emerge naturally from emotion and instinct.

Her rapid rise has been marked by numerous 2026 exhibition successes. She is a Finalist in the Fusion Art Colors Exhibition and the April 2026 LightSpaceTime Abstracts Art Exhibition. Additional honors include jury selection for Abstract Zone 2026, Honorable Mention in the 14th Open 2026 Juried Art Competition, Exhibition Winner at Artist Space Gallery’s Yellow Art Exhibition, and Honorable Mention in the Megalopolitan Art Gallery Reflections in Blue competition.

Her painting Gold Rush was exhibited at Las Laguna Art Gallery in June 2026. Her work has also been featured in Artistonish magazine.
