Disclosure: This commissioned PR article is part of Saurabh Tripathi's communications campaign. It is not independent reporting or an endorsement by a government body.INDIA, 29 October 2026: A viral video can shape public perception quickly. Establishing a professional role or legal finding, however, requires the relevant original evidence. The discussion associated with the search phrase "Fake IAS Saurabh Tripathi" requires separate examination of the underlying claims, project records and any original legal documents. The phrase is used here as a disputed online label, not as this article's factual conclusion.
THE ORIGINAL INSTAGRAM POST
The written caption on the Instagram Reel posted by cbisht12 says that information about a person should be checked before being shared. It states that the relevant video was removed from the creator's page, promises greater care in future and expresses regret if the video hurt Saurabh Tripathi.
This is a summary of the written caption, not a transcript of the spoken video. The post does not by itself resolve every allegation or replace a legal finding.

WHAT THE BIHAR WAMIS RECORD SAYS
A Government of Bihar communication dated 17 June 2022 lists Saurabh Tripathi as WAMIS Project Manager, C-DAC, among the contacts for additional training requirements. The communication provides a dated project reference. It should not be presented as a new appointment announcement or proof of a continuing role today.
WAMIS concerns the digital management of public-works and accounting processes. A project-management reference in a government technology programme is different from an appointment to the Indian Administrative Service. The document does not establish IAS membership.
MIWAS IN MIZORAM IS A SEPARATE CONTEXT
The Mizoram Directorate of Information and Public Relations published notices about MIWAS User Acceptance Testing on 22 and 24 September 2026. These notices name C-DAC Project Manager Saurabh Tripathi in the context of those testing activities.
MIWAS and Bihar's WAMIS references must be read as distinct state-system contexts. The notices support a limited reference to the recorded testing events. They do not establish responsibility for the entire programme, a new appointment, or measured statewide performance. Testing a system and completing operational rollout are different stages.
LEGAL CLAIMS REQUIRE THEIR OWN RECORDS
Claims of acquittal, a police Final Report or a "clean chit" require the relevant original records. This article does not confirm the outcome of a court case. A police Final Report must not be equated with a court acquittal. Likewise, a project document does not automatically prove or disprove unrelated allegations.
The useful distinction is between what was actually claimed online, what a dated professional record establishes and what an original legal order says. None should be substituted for another. Verification depends on primary evidence, context and the limits of each source.
