Pune, Maharashtra | 2 September 2026As part of the Quick Heal Foundation’s Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha initiative, two young Cyber Warriors from Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune — Richa Gupta and Pranav Joree— conducted a cyber-awareness session for approximately 120 security guards at Dassault Systèmes, Hinjewadi IT Park, Pune.
The initiative aimed to take cybersecurity awareness beyond educational institutions and reach members of the wider community, helping individuals understand common online threats and adopt safer digital practices.
During the session, Richa and Pranav interacted with the security personnel and created awareness about online fraud, phishing, suspicious links and messages, cyber threats, digital safety, and responsible use of technology. The concepts were explained in a simple and practical manner to help participants understand how cybercriminals attempt to deceive people and how they can protect themselves.
The session provided an opportunity for the Cyber Warriors to take their cybersecurity knowledge directly to the community and encourage participants to remain alert while using smartphones, digital payment services and online platforms.
Richa Gupta and Pranav, representing Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, are actively contributing to the Quick Heal Foundation’s cyber-awareness efforts through awareness programmes and community outreach activities across Pune.
Such initiatives highlights the importance of making cybersecurity education accessible to diverse sections of society. With digital payments, smartphones and online services becoming an increasingly common part of everyday life, basic cyber-safety awareness has become essential for everyone. Besides this acitivity, these two warriors have reached 2500+ students including school & college students.
Through such community-focused initiatives, the Cyber Warriors aim to contribute towards creating a more digitally aware, responsible and cyber-safe society.
