CHATHAM, Massachusetts. — 09.11.2026 — Pav Construction LLC, a Cape Cod-based design-build and custom home construction company, recently completed a luxury custom home project in Truro, Massachusetts, delivering a 3,700-square-foot residence featuring five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage.The project involved the demolition of an existing home and construction of a new custom residence on a property with complex topography and a challenging construction timeline. The project required careful planning, coordination, and creative problem-solving to ensure the new home met the homeowner’s goals while maximizing the potential of the existing site.
Rather than completely removing the existing foundation, Pav Construction evaluated the property and determined that portions of the original foundation could be preserved and integrated into the new design. The foundation was strategically expanded where needed, allowing the team to optimize the construction approach while maintaining the desired layout and functionality of the new residence.
“Every property presents its own opportunities and challenges, especially on Cape Cod where site conditions, coastal considerations, and existing structures all play an important role,” said Pav, owner of Pav Construction LLC. “By carefully evaluating the existing foundation and understanding the goals for the new home, we were able to create a solution that delivered both value and long-term functionality.”
A Design-Build Approach Focused on Planning and Execution
From the initial planning stages, Pav Construction worked through the design-build process to align the home's layout, architectural details, and site improvements with the overall vision for the property.
The completed residence features open-concept living spaces, custom architectural elements, and outdoor areas designed to support both everyday living and entertaining.
The property's elevation changes presented a significant construction challenge. Pav Construction developed customized site solutions, including importing structural fill to elevate portions of the property, regrading and rebuilding the driveway for improved access, and designing a retaining wall to create additional usable backyard space.
The project also included expanding the outdoor living area with a spacious patio designed for gatherings and relaxation.

Our design-build approach allows us to consider the entire project — from the home itself to landscaping, hardscaping, and site improvements — as one complete solution.”
Project Delivered Before Summer Season
Through detailed scheduling and coordination, Pav Construction managed the full scope of the project, including permitting, construction, landscaping, hardscaping, and final site work. The project was completed by May, allowing the homeowners to enjoy their new Cape Cod residence during the summer season.
