## How to Renew an Adult Passport
Eligible U.S. citizens can renew by mail using Form DS-82 if their most recent passport is undamaged, was issued when they were 16 or older, and is less than 15 years old. They need a new photo, the current passport, and the fee. Applications and supporting documents are mailed to the address specified on the form. First-time applicants and those who do not meet renewal criteria must apply in person.
