GoodDock, an independent digital download shop, today announced the release of its Aging Parent Care Organizer, a system built for adult children whose parent's care can change in a single phone call: a fall, a hospital stay, a diagnosis. Instead of hunting through drawers, phones, and portals at the worst possible moment, one binder holds everything a caregiver, sibling, doctor, or hospital team might need.
The 64-page printable binder covers 38 sections across medical, legal, financial, and daily-care details for two parents. It opens with a how-to-use guide, a care overview worksheet, and a caregiver quick reference, then moves through elder profiles and medical histories, medication lists with weekly tracking logs, a doctors, pharmacy, and insurance directory, and a hospital discharge checklist with a first-week-home plan. Legal and document sections cover a power-of-attorney, wills, and HIPAA authorization checklist and locator, an insurance policies directory, and an online accounts and passwords organizer. Care-team pages include ADL/IADL care-needs assessment worksheets, task-division tables for siblings, family meeting notes, and a weekly care schedule. The binder also includes a home-care-versus-facility comparison worksheet, facility evaluation checklists, room-by-room home safety modification checklists, care expense logs, a community resource guide, a caregiver self-care checklist, cut-out emergency cards, and 12 note pages, with an annual review reminder so the binder stays current.
The companion fillable Excel workbook lets caregivers type directly into the cells instead of printing: care contacts, a medication tracker, and a care expense log, with a copy that can be kept on a phone for every doctor appointment. The binder uses big, readable type designed to stay legible in stressful moments, with checkboxes, tables, and assessment worksheets throughout.
"Caregiving rarely starts with a plan — it starts with a crisis, and the information you need is scattered across five places," said a GoodDock spokesperson. "Most families don't need more advice about aging. They need one place where a parent's medications, doctors, legal documents, and daily-care needs are already written down, so any family member can step in without starting from zero."
The Aging Parent Care Organizer is available as a one-time digital download ($24.99) at gooddock.site, and includes a free sample Daily Care Needs Assessment.
