Mall of Hope expands community partnerships for dementia caregiver support

Mall of Hope is expanding its community partnerships to develop additional resources for families and caregivers supporting relatives living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The initiative brings together businesses, organizations, volunteers, and service providers to address practical needs associated with long-term family caregiving.

Families affected by dementia may experience changes in their daily routines as a relative’s care requirements develop. Family members who become caregivers can assist with transportation, appointments, household responsibilities, personal care, and other activities. These responsibilities can also require coordination among relatives, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

Mall of Hope’s community partnership initiative is focused on connecting organizations that can provide resources or professional assistance with programs serving families and caregivers. The initiative allows participating organizations to contribute services, expertise, volunteer time, technology, or other resources according to their capabilities.

The organization is also working with Questor as part of the initiative. Questor provides digital business and virtual assistance services and is contributing selected services to eligible organizations that provide qualifying support to Mall of Hope. The arrangement combines community contributions with digital resources that can assist participating organizations with their operational activities.

Questor’s services include virtual assistance, website development, branding, search engine optimization, social media management, lead generation, and other digital support. Under the partnership, eligible organizations may receive complimentary assistance based on the services required and the terms of their participation.

The partnership model provides an additional way for businesses and professional service providers to contribute to a nonprofit initiative without limiting participation to financial contributions. Organizations with relevant expertise can contribute services or resources that support community programs and caregiver-focused activities.
