AMMAN, Jordan — 1 November 2026 — JoCall’s public Remote Desktop guide sets out the differences between three connection workflows so that IT support teams can choose the setup that matches their task before installing.The guide separates a session approved by someone at the host computer from access to a previously configured Windows host. It also describes how JoCall’s RDP relay works with an existing Windows Remote Desktop environment rather than replacing Windows account sign-in.
For attended sharing, both computers need JoCall and an internet connection. The person at the host reviews the request and grants the permissions needed for that task. A first evaluation can use a small, authorized support task: establish the session, confirm that the required desktop interaction works, and disconnect afterward.
The unattended instructions cover the Windows host service, trusted client configuration, password and email-code verification. They distinguish the host’s unattended identifier from the identifier shown in the attended application. The RDP section explains the additional requirements: a Windows edition that accepts incoming Remote Desktop, an authorized Windows account and an external RDP client.
The available client downloads cover Windows x64 and Apple Silicon Mac. The Mac client requires macOS 15 or later; unattended and RDP hosting require Windows. The guide also covers Mac screen-sharing permissions, clipboard and file access, session controls and common setup problems.
