FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — 5 November 2026Independent RH Watch Publishes New Hosting-Software Licensing Case Update and Invites Public Support
AMMAN, JORDAN — RegularHost Watch (RH Watch), an independent consumer-information website, has published a 5 November update documenting its correspondence with manufacturers of commercial hosting and server-management software. The update distinguishes specific vendor statements about reseller authorization from pending inquiries, administrative ticket closures and unverified allegations.
The published case update includes direct statements from cPanel, JetBackup, Virtualizor and Deasoft concerning RegularHost's authorization status, and records the current position of other vendor and public-authority inquiries. The project advises readers to verify a reseller's authority and activation method directly with the manufacturer before purchasing or running unfamiliar software installation commands.
RH Watch also published a separate explanation of how its public-interest research is funded. It is inviting voluntary recurring contributions of US$50 per month or more from vendors that value software-license verification and consumer awareness, alongside smaller donations from readers. Contributions support evidence preservation, independent case tracking, consumer education and guidance toward official licensing and subscription routes. Funding never influences findings, editorial judgment, enforcement decisions, or whether a company is covered.
