FormulaX Joins ScheduleX on MKSK's X Cloud Platform for Oracle Cloud HCM

MKSK Consulting has brought FormulaX, the first AI Fast Formula generator, into the MKSK X Cloud Platform, alongside ScheduleX.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Oxford, UK, 20 October 2026

Two of the most repetitive specialist jobs on an Oracle Cloud HCM programme now sit on one platform.

MKSK Consulting has brought FormulaX, the first AI Fast Formula generator, created by MKSK to generate, explain and validate Oracle Fast Formulas, into the MKSK X Cloud Platform, alongside ScheduleX, its work schedule tool for designing, validating and bulk loading complex work patterns into Oracle Cloud HCM.

The pairing is deliberate. Fast Formulas and work schedules look like configuration details. In practice, both are volume work with payroll consequences. Formulas encode the rules for pay, absence, benefits and compensation, and writing them queues behind scarce specialists. Schedules encode who works when, and building them at scale is slow, manual work. Errors in either one tend to surface in the same place: the pay run.

FormulaX handles the formula side. Describe a rule in plain English and it generates the Fast Formula, after clarifying questions on timing, effective dates and exceptions. Existing formulas are explained line by line. Structure, syntax and result variables are validated before use, and the output carries its reasoning and test cases with it. In live demonstrations, formula development time fell by 60 to 80 per cent, and functional consultants produced work that previously waited for technical developers.

ScheduleX handles the schedule side: design patterns in Excel or Google Sheets, validate every schedule before loading, block duplicates in real time, and load in bulk, an approach credited in MKSK's SME News award profile with reducing rota to payroll processing by up to 90%.

Both tools began the same way, as answers MKSK consultants built for problems they kept meeting on live implementations. The X Cloud Platform is MKSK turning that field experience into named products for Oracle Cloud HCM teams, and for the implementation partners who deliver their systems.

Mohammed Khan, Director, Oracle Division at MKSK Consulting, said: "Programmes do not usually fail on the headline features. They leak time on formulas and schedules, the detailed work that has to be right before payroll runs. FormulaX and ScheduleX are our two answers to that, and they belong together."

FormulaX is available now. MKSK's demonstration offer covers both sides of the platform: bring one Fast Formula you would hand to a developer, or one rota pattern set you would build by hand.
