MIDDLESBROUGH, 16 October 2026 — Businesses across Teesside's logistics, engineering and process-industry supply chain can now get remote IT repairs for a fixed £39.99, as Glasgow-based Riverbank IT Systems brings its no-contract repair service to Middlesbrough and the surrounding area.
Teesside's economy still runs on movement and making things — Teesport freight and warehousing, chemical and process plants along the river, and the hundreds of SMEs that supply and serve them. The kit on the shop floor may be industrial, but the offices behind it run on ordinary Windows PCs, email and printers, and when those fail the paperwork stops even if the plant does not.
Riverbank's service is a fixed-price remote repair: £39.99 plus VAT buys the first 20 minutes of an engineer's time, during which most routine faults — email down, network and printer failures, malware, machines refusing to start, Microsoft 365 problems — are diagnosed and fixed. Anything requiring longer is quoted in writing before work continues, and parts or on-site attendance are always priced and approved separately.
"Industrial firms are practical people — they want to know what it costs before anyone touches anything," said Timothy A., founder of Riverbank IT Systems. "£39.99 for the first 20 minutes, a written quote if it needs more, and no contract tying you in. That is the whole offer."
Because the work is remote, depot offices and sites on the edge of the Tees get the same response as a city-centre firm, and the service operates 24/7 to cover early shifts and weekend working. Business-critical faults are triaged within minutes.
Riverbank IT Systems serves Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Hartlepool and the wider Tees Valley remotely from Glasgow.
