KENNESAW, GEORGIA - Ellen V. Springer, MBA, AEP, CLTC, RFC, CSA, CPA, founder of Springer & Company, CPAs, PC, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Distinguished Worldwide Humanitarian Award.Ellen Springer is being recognized for her longstanding commitment to professional leadership, community service, and helping others. Throughout her career, she has combined her work as a CPA and business professional with extensive involvement in civic, educational, charitable, and professional organizations.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to receive this recognition,” said Springer. “Helping others has always been about more than business for me. It is about serving others, making a difference, and using the experience and opportunities I have been given to help people move forward.”
Springer has held leadership roles with numerous organizations, including the Georgia Society of CPAs, Women in Financial Services-Atlanta, the YWCA of North Georgia, the Kennesaw State University Foundation, the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia, and the Kennesaw Business Association. Her previous service has included board, officer, and committee positions in organizations focused on business, education, community service, and philanthropy.
The humanitarian recognition adds to a career that has included numerous professional and community honors. Springer has previously been recognized with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, induction into Marquis Who’s Who Top Professionals of the Year, the WE Inspiration Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Kennesaw Mayor’s Award for Excellence, and other professional and community distinctions.
