El Flow del Caribe was born in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, one of the Caribbean's most iconic surf and watersports destinations. Surrounded by waves, trade winds and a vibrant community of surfers, kitesurfers and ocean lovers, founder Manuele Lucisano asked a simple question:
Why isn't there a functional drink created specifically for the people who live in the ocean?
Not another conventional energy drink filled with artificial ingredients. Not another sports beverage designed for the mass market. But something inspired by surf culture itself. A drink that reflected the same values shared by those who spend their lives chasing wind, waves and a deeper connection with nature.
That question became the beginning of El Flow del Caribe.
A Different Challenge
The ambition was never simply to create a new beverage.
The real challenge was to develop a functional drink using naturally sourced ingredients while placing environmental and social sustainability at the center of every decision.
Instead of following the traditional energy drink formula, El Flow del Caribe explores ingredients such as specialty coffee, cricket protein and marine phytoplankton, carefully selected to create a different approach to natural performance and nutrition.
Just as importantly, the project aims to build as much of its supply chain as possible within the Dominican Republic, supporting local production and reducing environmental impact wherever possible.
