HSINCHU, Taiwan — September 5, 2026 — This release republishes and clarifies a business development originally announced on May 15, 2025. eGreen Biotek Corp., a biotechnology company located in Hsinchu Science Park, announced a collaboration with U.S.-based AMP Laboratory involving medicinal and functional mushroom ingredients, manufacturing and access to professional preventive-health channels in North America.The collaboration is intended to combine Taiwan-based cultivation and ingredient capabilities with U.S. product-development and market experience. According to the original announcement, the parties planned a supply model under which eGreen would provide semi-finished mushroom ingredients and AMP Laboratory would undertake downstream formulation, manufacturing and market development for the United States.
eGreen Biotek has developed cultivation and processing capabilities for Sanghuang and other functional mushrooms. Its technical work includes solid-state and liquid fermentation, fruiting-body and mycelium cultivation, ingredient processing and quality management. The company is also evaluating applications involving Cordyceps, Chaga, Reishi, Lion's Mane, Maitake and Agaricus blazei as part of a broader mushroom biotechnology platform.
One component described in the original announcement was a cultivation base and biotechnology research center covering nearly 2,000 ping, or approximately 6,600 square meters. The facility was planned with applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice quality principles in mind, supporting traceability, manufacturing transparency and consistent ingredient specifications.
For international markets, eGreen Biotek says mushroom ingredients require more than production capacity. Developers must document species and strain identity, the fungal part used, manufacturing conditions, batch consistency, safety information, labeling and traceability. The company plans to continue building specifications and research documentation for different products and regulatory markets.
