Students Enthusiastically Participate in Cyber Awareness Campaign at Jijamata high school ,shukrawar peth

Pune | With the valuable support of the Quick Heal Foundation, students of Kaveri College successfully conducted an impactful Cyber Awareness Campaign at Jijamata high school ,shukrawar peth

from Tuesday to Friday. The initiative was organized with the objective of creating greater awareness among school students about cyber security, responsible digital behaviour, and the growing risks associated with the use of the internet and digital platforms.

Around 500 students from the school actively participated in the campaign and enthusiastically engaged with the awareness activities. The central message of the campaign, "Stay Cyber Safe and Protect Yourself from Online Threats," was conveyed to students through interactive discussions and awareness sessions. The campaign encouraged students to understand the importance of being alert and responsible while using smartphones, computers, social media platforms, online games, websites, and other digital services.

During the campaign, students were guided about various forms of cyber threats, including online deception, phishing attempts, misleading messages, suspicious links, identity theft, cyberbullying, and other common online risks. The sessions also emphasized the importance of creating strong and unique passwords, keeping personal information private, avoiding communication with unknown individuals online, and thinking carefully before clicking on unfamiliar links or sharing information on digital platforms.

The campaign highlighted that cyber safety is not only about protecting devices but also about protecting personal information, online identities, and digital relationships. Students were encouraged to verify information before trusting or forwarding messages and to immediately report suspicious online activities to parents, teachers, or appropriate authorities. The initiative also promoted responsible and respectful use of social media and other online platforms.

The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their growing interest in understanding cyber security and adopting safer digital habits. The campaign provided an opportunity for students to learn practical measures that can help them recognize and avoid potential online threats in their daily lives.

The campaign was coordinated by Shilamkumar Gujarathi and Nehal Sharma, whose efforts contributed to the successful organization and execution of the initiative. With the combined support of Kaveri College and the Quick Heal Foundation, the campaign served as an important step toward building a digitally aware, responsible, and cyber-safe student community.

The Cyber Awareness Campaign successfully reinforced the message that staying informed, alert, and responsible is one of the most effective ways to remain safe in the rapidly changing digital world.
