SHENZHEN, China — October 22, 2026 — CURORI is sharing findings from its source-attributed review of selected medical-aesthetic prices in China and overseas markets. The review finds meaningful advertised-price gaps for some procedures, but rejects a single percentage claim for “savings in China” across all treatments or countries. The underlying review contains 61 advertised overseas price records from nine markets and 29 named clinic or professional-society sources. Records are not 61 independent clinics, and the sample is not nationally representative. CURORI's own reference base prices are the China-side comparator, not an average across Chinese hospitals.
For one E-max veneer, CURORI lists US$294. Three selected UK fixed single-tooth E-max tariffs from Ballybot Dental, Sankey Street Dental Practice and MyHealthcare Clinic — £450, £575 and £650 — convert to approximately US$596, US$762 and US$861 at the study's reference exchange rate. Their three-practice sample median is about US$762, making CURORI's listed rate 61.4% lower than that limited median before travel and unmatched dental work. The study does not call this a UK-wide average or a guaranteed full-smile saving.
For ordinary abdominoplasty, CURORI lists US$5,000. That is far below two selected German full-abdomen starting tariffs of €9,500 each (PraxisKlinik Pöseldorf and Aesthetikon) and one UK standard-operation start of £7,999 (London Hair and Cosmetic Surgical Centre). Yet a three-provider sample of French cosmetic abdominoplasty starts (Dr Mohcine Taizou, Dr Daniel Arnaud and Dr Deschler) has a median of €4,500, about US$5,035 — almost the same as the CURORI base. One weight-conditioned Yanhee International Hospital price in Thailand is lower than CURORI's ordinary base. These examples show why operation scope, starting-price conditions and package inclusions matter.
The study also identifies an opposite result for an energy-based treatment. CURORI lists full-face Thermage FLX at US$2,786 for 900 shots; three selected Korean 900-shot advertisements from THE Beautiful Clinic, CÉRAMIQUE Clinic and Hongdae Skin Clinic convert to approximately US$2,005, US$2,236 and US$2,453. One is promotional, and tax, expiry and inclusions are not fully harmonised. The figures do not establish a national Korean average, but they do not support a universal China price advantage either.
Overseas prices were converted using European Central Bank reference rates dated October 13, 2026. CURORI's research notes separate fixed tariffs, starting prices, promotional entries and historical surgeon-fee components; the source list and calculation details are available for media enquiry. Listed differences are not final patient savings: each comparison still requires an itemised clinical plan, facility and anaesthesia terms, travel costs and follow-up arrangements.
Founded in 2025, CURORI helps international patients explore medical-aesthetic options in China and coordinates practical information around enquiries. CURORI is not a hospital, clinic or treating medical provider. Qualified doctors and licensed institutions determine suitability, treatment, risks and final quotations.
