DONGGUAN, China — October 1, 2026 — CURORI completed an 80-kilogram dog-food donation to Dongguan Jieyi Stray Animal Home, supporting more than 90 rescued dogs. The visit was CURORI's first in-person animal-welfare activity and forms part of its continuing commitment to direct 1% of profits toward animal-welfare support. The rescue home also cares for more than 130 cats, although the cats were not direct beneficiaries of this particular dog-food donation. On-site photographs document the CURORI Cares visit, rescued dogs at the shelter and the delivered food sacks.
Dongguan Jieyi Stray Animal Home has spent approximately 22 years helping stray cats and dogs. According to information provided to CURORI, its long-term caregiver has devoted substantial personal savings, time and physical effort to operating the base and continues to face shortages of food, medicine and other essential supplies.
“This was our first time taking part in an animal-welfare activity in person, and it made the need feel very immediate,” said Jiani Peng, founder of CURORI. “We want our growth to create practical benefits beyond our own business. Sometimes that means a large programme, and sometimes it means making sure rescued animals have food when it is needed.”
CURORI's 1% Animal-Welfare Commitment
Since 2025, CURORI has maintained a commitment to direct 1% of its profits toward animal-welfare initiatives. Before the October 1 visit, the company had supported animal-welfare needs through online donations and other forms of assistance. The Dongguan activity marked CURORI's first offline, in-person giving initiative.
CURORI does not plan to publish monetary donation totals that could indirectly disclose confidential company profit information. Instead, it plans to report practical measures of impact, including kilograms of food donated, numbers and types of animals supported, supplies or medicines provided, rescue organisations assisted, and completed online and in-person activities.
CURORI plans to publish its first annual animal-welfare impact update at the end of 2026.
The rescue home continues to need food, medicine and other daily-care supplies. People interested in helping should confirm its current needs and official donation arrangements directly before contributing.
