SHENZHEN, China — October 7, 2026 — CURORI has published a city-selection guide for international users considering medical-aesthetic or cosmetic-treatment travel in China. The guide recommends choosing a city only after considering the responsible doctor, licensed institution, proposed treatment pathway, assessment requirements, total quotation and follow-up arrangements.A well-known skyline or convenient flight may make a destination attractive, but travel appeal should not replace medical suitability. Users should first identify an appropriate qualified doctor and the licensed institution where any consultation or treatment would take place. They should then confirm whether the relevant service is available and what assessment is required before a final decision.
CURORI currently organizes information and coordination across five core cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou. Availability varies by doctor, institution, procedure, appointment schedule and the individual's circumstances. Inclusion in a city list does not mean that every treatment, provider or date is available.
Practical comparison questions include how many visits may be needed, whether an in-person consultation is required, how long a patient may need to remain locally, what interpretation or practical support can be arranged and how questions will be handled after the person returns home. Users should also separate clinical charges from travel, accommodation and other non-clinical costs when comparing destinations.
“The best city is not a universal label; it depends on the responsible provider, the person's needs and the complete treatment journey,” said Jiani Peng, founder of CURORI. “Travel convenience matters, but it should come after the medical pathway and follow-up plan are understood.”
CURORI has announced a target to expand its coordination coverage from five major Chinese cities to ten by December 31, 2027. Chengdu, Xi'an and Wuhan are named planned additions. A Yunnan destination and one further city remain under evaluation. These locations are planned coverage and should not be interpreted as currently available CURORI service.
Before making inflexible travel bookings, an international user should confirm the treating provider, consultation status, assessment requirements, proposed timing and the parts of the quotation that remain subject to change. A preliminary discussion or estimate is not confirmation that treatment is suitable, finalized or scheduled.
Founded in 2025, CURORI is a China Hospital Alliance and Doctor Network supporting international users who are researching and comparing medical-aesthetic and cosmetic-treatment options in China. CURORI may organize provider information, facilitate communication and coordinate initial enquiries, appointments or practical arrangements, subject to availability.
CURORI is not a hospital, clinic or treating medical provider. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment or guarantee outcomes. Qualified doctors and licensed medical institutions remain responsible for medical eligibility, clinical advice, risk disclosure, treatment plans, final quotations, follow-up and expected-outcome discussions.
