KAZUO, China — July 29, 2026 — Beiyin Packaging, the international brand of Kazuo Beiyin Paper and Plastic Packing Co., Ltd., has published a production-ready request-for-quotation checklist for food brands, importers and packaging buyers preparing custom flexible pouch projects. The guide is intended to help purchasing and product teams create a clearer starting brief before pouch structure, samples, pricing or production timing are discussed.Custom pouch inquiries often begin with a product name and a preferred bag appearance. A workable proposal, however, also depends on how the package will be filled, stored, transported and sold. Beiyin Packaging’s checklist asks buyers to confirm seven areas:
1. Product and filling conditions: Identify the food or beverage, pack weight or volume, filling method, and any relevant filling temperature or handling requirements.
2. Pouch format and dimensions: Specify the preferred format—such as a stand-up, flat-bottom, three-side-seal, side-gusset or spouted pouch—and provide finished dimensions or capacity targets.
3. Quantity and order plan: State the estimated quantity for the first order and whether the project is a sample, pilot or recurring production program.
4. Barrier and shelf-life objective: Describe sensitivity to oxygen, moisture, light or aroma and provide the intended shelf-life target so that suitable material options can be reviewed.
5. Closure and functional features: List any zipper, valve, spout, tear notch, window or other feature that the packed product and consumer use case may require.
6. Destination market and distribution route: Identify where the packed product will be sold and how it will be shipped or stored. Final material, performance and compliance requirements must be confirmed for the specific product and destination market.
7. Artwork, sampling and delivery status: Indicate whether artwork is ready, the preferred printing or finish direction, the sample type needed and the target delivery date.
The purpose of the checklist is to move the first supplier discussion from a general bag request to a project brief that can support relevant structure options, material review, sampling steps and production planning. It does not replace product-specific filling trials, packaging tests or regulatory review.
Beiyin Packaging supports custom flexible packaging projects for coffee, tea, snacks, pet food, powders, frozen food, and liquid or semi-liquid products. Its project support covers pouch-structure discussion, material selection, custom printing, artwork review, blank or printed samples, production coordination and export delivery. Recommendations vary according to the packed product, filling process, order quantity and destination-market requirements.
The company recommends attaching reference artwork, a dimensional drawing or an existing package sample when available. Buyers should also identify any test method, labeling rule or documentation requirement their market requires before approving the final specification.
The checklist and related sampling guidance are available at:
