Bangladesh Kristi Parishad Hosts Boishakhi Cultural Discussion & Reunion in Dhaka

Bangladesh Kristi Parishad held a Boishakhi reunion in Dhaka, uniting professionals to discuss and promote Bangladeshi cultural heritage and identity.

On the occasion of Bangla New Year, the Bangladesh Kristi Parishad arranged a vibrant Boishakhi discussion and reunion program in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. The gathering reflected a warm, festive spirit and strong cultural unity.
The program featured in-depth discussions on the preservation, development, and practice of Bangladesh’s traditional culture and heritage. Speakers noted that in today’s globalized world, it is essential to uphold and nurture one’s cultural identity. They also stressed that collective social engagement is vital to ensure the proper transmission of cultural values to future generations.
Participants from diverse professional fields including journalism, agriculture, psychology, architecture, information technology, and social development shared their insights and experiences.
Prominent attendees included Khondaker Sohrab Ali, President of the organization and Senior Cameraman at BTV, and Sheikh Shafiul Alam, General Secretary and social organizer.
Other distinguished participants included Dr. Sarker Abul Kalam Azad (Agriculturist), Salman Adnan (Social Worker), Barrister Hedayet Hossain Chowdhury, Sonia Talukder (Women Entrepreneur), Mohammad Sanaullah (IT Expert), Shahidul Haque Sagar (News Editor, Deepto TV), Rupok (Architect), Jahid Hasan Shantanu (Psychologist), Dr. Ayash (Vision Eye), artist Bipul, and businessman Sohel Rana, among others.
