KHIMKI, Russia, October 4, 2026 — Auto555 has published a free calculator for evaluating one vehicle over a selected rental period. The tool is available at https://auto555.ru/downloads/kalkulyator-zagruzki-avto.html and works without a login. It complements the existing downloadable Auto555 spreadsheet for recording rental revenue and costs across several vehicles.The calculator separates two measures that can otherwise be confused: utilization of days when the vehicle is available for rent, and utilization of the entire calendar period. Users enter the length of the period, days unavailable for rental, paid rental days, average revenue per rental day, variable costs per rental day, and costs for the period that do not depend on rental days.
Maintenance, repair and preparation days reduce the available capacity. The tool rejects a rental-day total that exceeds that capacity rather than displaying a utilization rate above 100 percent. Revenue is calculated from paid days and average daily revenue; entered variable and period costs are then deducted. Refundable deposits should not be treated as rental revenue.
An optional educational example uses fictional values: a 30-day period, three unavailable days, 18 paid rental days, daily revenue of RUB 2,500, variable daily costs of RUB 300, and period costs of RUB 18,000. These inputs produce 27 available days, approximately 66.67 percent available-day utilization, 60 percent calendar utilization, RUB 45,000 revenue, RUB 23,400 entered costs and RUB 21,600 remaining after those costs. The example is not a customer case study or a prediction of earnings.
The cost-coverage estimate assumes unchanged daily revenue and costs and rounds the required rental days up to a whole day. It warns when the required number exceeds the available capacity. If daily revenue does not exceed variable daily costs, the tool reports that a positive daily contribution is unavailable. Users can download the calculation as a CSV file.
The result covers only the entries supplied by the user. Taxes, depreciation, shared overhead and other transactions are included only if the user enters them. The tool does not calculate the full profit of a rental company or evaluate a vehicle purchase. Its interface is in Russian and monetary inputs are in rubles. Calculations run in the browser; entered values are not submitted to the server or retained after a page refresh.
