Indian animation director and musical artist Hrishtune has been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Cine Award 2025 in the Best Animation Film category for his project “Rabby and the Tortue (Hunt for the Golden Seed).” The recognition was announced as part of the 2025 edition of the awards, which acknowledge contributions to film and digital media. The film presents a reimagined version of the well-known rabbit and turtle story, placing the characters in a narrative focused on environmental awareness and the importance of tree conservation. Developed over a period of approximately three years, the project reflects an independent production effort combining storytelling with thematic messaging.
Produced under Quarterheads Studio, the film forms part of Hrishtune’s ongoing work in animation and visual storytelling. The animation process involved contributions from team members including Niraj Lodha, Yogendra Rathore, and Rushikesh Salunkhe.
