Alan Bee: “Invisible Relations” opens at ABC-ARTE in GenoaGENOA, ITALY — ABC-ARTE presents “Invisible Relations,” a solo exhibition by Alan Bee curated by Paolo Campiglio, on view from 15 October through 6 December 2026 at the gallery’s Genoa venue. The exhibition opens to the public on 15 October at 6:30 pm, with free admission.
“Invisible Relations” brings together works that reveal the artist’s distinctive approach to painting through tactile, stratified surfaces, organic geometries and a sustained investigation of the relationships between matter, perception and memory. Bee’s compositions are built as active visual fields: forms emerge, overlap and recede, creating connections that are sensed before they are fully named.
Curator Paolo Campiglio places these works within a dialogue between the physical presence of the painted surface and the invisible systems of association that shape the viewer’s experience. Rather than offering a single narrative, the exhibition invites visitors to move between details, rhythms and textures, discovering how apparently autonomous elements form a wider network of correspondences.
The exhibition is hosted by ABC-ARTE, a contemporary art gallery in central Genoa. Through its exhibition and research programme, the gallery develops projects devoted to post-war and contemporary artistic practices, combining historical inquiry with attention to international perspectives.
