OLNEY, Ill., September 30, 2026 — Aerostratospheric, an Illinois nonprofit, will be the featured guest vendor at the High Altitude Science Summit, a one-day, all-ages public event on Saturday, March 13, 2027, from 10 AM to 4 PM in Olney, Illinois.During its featured hour from 11 AM to noon, Aerostratospheric will be on the floor with its lightweight high-altitude balloon platforms, its open atmospheric data from Illinois, and the flight stack behind X2Griffon. At noon, Jeremy David Higgs leads the summit's round table with other invited guests. The day also includes a meet and greet, a vendor showcase, two hours of open vendor displays and collaboration, and a closing ceremony.
The summit brings together researchers, educators, students, vendors and anyone curious about high-altitude platforms and the instruments that fly them.
Tickets and vendor tables are half price through October 30, 2026. Advance general admission is $10 (it's $20 at the door), a vendor table is $100 instead of $200, and platinum sponsorship is $250 instead of $500. One attendee will be drawn to win a laptop or tablet. Registration closes December 20, 2026.
