Glasgow, 7 October 2026 — The Glasgow IT founder known across Scotland for fixing small-business tech at £39.99 is extending the same deal to Northern England.
Timothy A., founder of Riverbank IT Systems, says businesses in Newcastle, Sunderland, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Bradford, Hull and York can now access the company's fixed-price remote repairs, 24/7 support and free IT cost audit — priced from a Glasgow cost base rather than a London one.
"Northern businesses have been paying London prices for IT for too long," Timothy said. "We are Glasgow and Edinburgh based and we say so. Most IT work needs nobody in the room, so we support the North remotely around the clock, and we plan on-site visits when hardware needs hands. No regional office means no regional mark-up."
The £39.99 plus VAT fixed price covers the first 20 minutes of remote support on servers, laptops, MacBooks, tablets, printers, email, Wi-Fi, malware and slow machines. Anything beyond that is quoted in writing first, with parts and on-site attendance quoted separately. Urgent faults are picked up within 5 to 10 minutes.
Born and raised in Glasgow, Timothy has built Riverbank as a lean, low-overhead alternative to the corporate IT model, and says the recession has only sharpened the mission: "Every pound we save a business in Leeds or Newcastle is a pound that keeps someone in a job."
